The Migrant Program is a program designed to help those students who have moved to our district within in the past year due to a parent's job in agriculture. Some examples of agricultural jobs are fishing, farming, and processing chicken (Tyson, Wayne's Farms, etc.) We know that moves can be difficult especially when a family has to move often due to agricultural work. If your child/children are eligible, we can provide free school supplies, tutoring, medical screenings, lunches and much more. We want to be able to do what we can to help your child/children be successful in his/her school transition.
The following information will be needed for your child/children to quailify:
- Child's/Children's name
- Homeroom Teacher
- Date of last move
- Place of Employment
