Hotspots are able to connect many devices to multiple support student learning in one house hold. Dardanelle works with both T-Mobile and AT&T to help those families who have no access to Internet. Both companies provide CIPA complaint Internet filters on all traffic going through the Hot Spot.
All Hotspots come with an unlimited data plan. However, after certain thresholds of data usage every month, the speed of the Internet may be slowed until the next month.
To connect to your T-mobile Hotspot: The sticker on the device will show the Network and the Wifi password you will need to connect to the signal. Make sure the device is plugged in (or charged) and turned on. You will need to be in the range of T-mobile towers.
If you have any issues, please contact the T-mobile Support number listed on the device.
To connect to your AT&T Hotspot: You will need to locate the Wifi Network name and password from the menu system in the device itself. Here is a short video another school district made explaining how to do that:
Make sure the device is plugged in (or charged) and turned on. You will need to be in the range of AT&T towers.
NOTE: Hot Spots will not work when they are "roaming".
