I am Sheri Sykes, school counselor at Dardanelle Primary. I am a Dardanelle native and Arkansas Tech graduate. Being a school counselor is something I started to be interested in about 15 years ago.  I realized that the students needed someone to talk to, trust, and find ways to meet their needs outside the classroom.  I started graduate school at ATU, and now I have achieved my goal. It is my hope to lead every Dardanelle Primary student to success by providing academic, social/emotional, and career-related support services. I provide counseling services to individuals, small-groups, and whole-classes. It is my job to advocate for each and every student and their families.
