Alexander Gamble is the first Dardanelle Sand Lizards ever to be elected to office in Student Congress, serving as the Speaker of the House in House I. This is an extraordinary accomplishment, especially since House I is widely regarded as the most competitive and best-staffed House at the event.
The Arkansas Student Congress, is the oldest model legislative event in the state. It provides a unique opportunity for both high school (House) and college (Senate) students to simulate the representative democratic process at a statewide level.
