On Friday May 16th, seniors need to be loaded on buses that will pull out at 8:50 am sharp to head to the walkthrough at each campus in our district. Seniors are not allowed to drive and participate at the building walkthroughs. Seniors should wear their graduation attire to this. Once we return to the high school, we will line up alphabetically according to the graduation program and proceed with the actual graduation practice in the safe room. Students will receive their permanent folders with all of the records the school has on file from their educational journey. ***This is the only copy of this information therefore it needs to be placed in a secure location following the practice.***

Our Honor Graduates at Dardanelle High School must complete all smart core and local requirements, have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, no behavioral or attendance infractions, and complete four full credits in advanced placement courses; one of which must be in either math or science, one in English, one in history, and an elective AP course. Students must complete the national exam in all AP courses taken. Our students earning this Honor designation in the class of 2025 have not only completed these academic requirements, but are also involved in various clubs, organizations, and extracurricular activities. We are happy to congratulate their work ethic throughout their time at DHS and honor them at graduation this May.

After a couple weather delays our sophomore students were finally able to attend a tour of the Arkansas Tech Career Center last week. Students will have a chance to enroll in two year programs while in high school that will award them certifications and on the job training. If you currently have a sophomore at DHS, ask them about this trip and encourage them to sign up for "VOTECH" with their advisors.

The DHS History Club adopted every resident at the Dardanelle Nursing home to provide a Christmas present to. Students volunteered to wrap the presents after school, then used their advisory time to deliver the gifts to the Nursing Home. Great job to our students and to the History Club Advisers, Mr. Harvell and Ms. Freeman.
