Mrs. Alejandra Reyes spoke with the Art II and Art III students today about the "Day of the Dead" community art competition that will be held on Nov. 2 at the Yell County Regional Library in Dardanelle. She brought a book to show the students about how Hispanic culture and traditions vary from one place to the next. She talked about the comparison of the "Day of the Dead" and the American tradition called "Decoration" and how both of these traditions are becoming lost. Once students finish their works of art they will be on public display at the Library from Nov. 2 through the remainder of that week.

Congratulations! Dardanelle High has been recognized by the Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as a school where students demonstrated high growth on the ACT Aspire!

Congratulations to our very own SRO, Bryan Robinson. Our students and faculty love him, and we are so lucky to have him at DHS full-time.
