National Beta members from Dardanelle Middle School are celebrating
their recent participation in the Arkansas Junior Beta State Convention! They were announced as winners of the following competitions:
Garrett Reed: 1st place Instrumental Music Solo
Gracie Jackson: 4th place Accessory Design
Harper Williams: 5th place Speech
With more than 500,000 active members and 14,000 clubs nationally and internationally, National Beta has become the nation’s largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. National Beta promotes academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students. We are so proud of the hard work our students put in!

Dardanelle Middle School Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd from 3:30pm - 6:30pm.
Student flu shot clinic will be held on October 9th at DMS. Flu shot forms will be sent home on Monday, October 2nd and will need to be returned by Thursday, October 5th. We will have extra flu shot forms available at PT conference on October 3rd if you would like to fill one out that evening.

7th grade participated in the Metric Olympics. They’re competing in different events and using the metric system to measure their results. Events included are “The Opposite Hand Squeeze”, “Paper Plate Toss”, “Popsicle Stick Javelin Throw” and more!
