Be Pro Be Proud Arkansas visited our 8th-grade Career Development students yesterday! Students could do simulations that included driving an 18-wheeler, working an excavator, welding, and so much more!

DMS Early Dismissal Schedule
Huge shout out to everyone wearing Razorback apparel today to honor Keith Stokes and his family. Great tribute by our DMS SRO & Dardanelle PD Officer Aaron Davis flying the Razorback Flags today.
Our Sand Lizard community is deeply saddened by the loss of Keith Stokes, husband to Ms. Julie and father to Mrs. Stoke-Hess. Keith was a long time Sand Lizard supporter and a former school board member at Dardanelle. Keith was also the caregiver for the University of Arkansas mascot TUSK. To honor his memory, we are asking that everyone in the Dardanelle School District to please wear Razorback attire to school on Monday, August 21st. Go Lizards and GO HOGS GO!!!!
We are so excited about what the 23-24 school year holds. We can not wait to get it started. It is going to be a great year at DMS!!!!!!!!
DMS parents, we have been informed that the Dardanelle Boys and Girls Club will not be open until August 21st. Just an FYI so you can plan accordingly. Thanks!!!!!
ATTENTION........... If you are going to be a student at Dardanelle Middle School and you have not turned your paperwork in and picked up your students schedule; the office will be open from 8:00am until 3:30pm tomorrow, August 11th. We strongly encourage you to swing by tomorrow and drop off paperwork and pickup schedule before Monday!!!!
Reminder........ Tomorrow, August 3rd is 6th grade schedule and locker pickup day. 8:30-11:30 and 12:30 - 3:30.
Dardanelle School District Parents/Guardians:
Reminder that you can fill out a Free or Reduced Meal Application online under the Dardanelle Public Schools webpage in the middle of the page. This application is instead of the paper application. One application per household, please.
Remember to:
- List everyone in the household and income amounts (if applicable)
Students who qualify for Free or Reduced priced meals will not pay a fee for ACT TEST PREP, ACT TESTING, additional ACT score reports, and college application fees are waived... It's all FREE.
Students who qualify will receive Free for Reduced lunch and breakfast the entire school year and up to 30 days the following school year, or until a new application is submitted.

DMS 2023-2024 Back to School Information
On May 19, DMS Student Council traveled to the Blue Zoo in Rogers, Arkansas, for a day of fun and learning. This group of kids worked all year to raise money and were able to purchase "Class of 2027" t-shirts for the rising Freshman class. This trip was a chance to say thank you for a great year with a great group of kids.
